Join us for a vibrant evening celebrating the new exhibition Amor Es Alegría by acclaimed artist Carlos Barrios, whose evocative works draw on myth, memory, and the sacred. This deeply personal collection reflects his joy in life, his love for family, nature, and the spirit of connection — this exhibiton represents a radiant vision for our times.

As a special feature of the exhibition, Carlos is sharing 22 intimate works by his close friend and mentor John Olsen, gifted to him over the years and never before shown publicly. These small works — full of Olsen’s signature exuberance and lyrical movement — serve as a heartfelt homage to their friendship and shared belief in the uplifting power of art.

Carlos worked closely with John Olsen from 2014 to 2018, including assisting him on the monumental mural King Sun in Melbourne. Now, he invites you to experience their artistic dialogue — one of reflection, joy, and the enduring wonder of creation. This is an rare opportunity for those wanting to add two iconic Australian artists to their collection.
